The Jewish Community of Belgrade has once again enabled us to organize another unforgettable gathering.
Together with the association "Discover Serbia", we are taking you to one of the most beautiful places in eastern Serbia, where river, history, and summer meet. A day filled with nature, sailing on the mighty Danube, and summer refreshment at Silver Lake awaits us.
Our first destination is Silver Lake, one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Serbia. Formed on a former branch of the Danube, it now represents a true oasis of peace and one of the favorite spots for summer vacation. Crystal clear water, well-maintained beaches, promenades along the shore, and rich greenery create an ideal ambiance for relaxation and escape from urban everyday life.
A special experience of this trip is the three-hour panoramic boat ride on the Danube to Golubac Fortress, one of the most beautiful medieval fortifications.
During the cruise, we will enjoy unique views of the mighty Danube, which in this part of its flow shows all its grandeur. Sailing towards the entrance to the Đerdap Gorge, we will observe green slopes, high cliffs, and untouched nature that has surrounded this great European river for centuries.
At the end of the cruise, we will be greeted by the magnificent Golubac Fortress, which rises like a stone guardian above the Danube. Built in the early 14th century at the very entrance to the Đerdap Gorge, it has represented one of the most important strategic points on the Danube for centuries. Its powerful towers, ramparts, and position between the river and the cliffs leave a strong impression on every visitor.
After the cruise, we return to Silver Lake, where we will have about an hour of free time for swimming and enjoying the well-maintained beach. Those who wish can refresh themselves in the clean waters of the lake, while others will have the opportunity to relax in the shade, stroll along the shore, or simply enjoy the peace.
After refreshing and resting, we will have a joint lunch in the pleasant ambiance of the Danubia Park Hotel, located right on the shore of Silver Lake.
With a delicious meal and a view of the lake, we will have the opportunity to share impressions, spend a little more time together, and enjoy the gathering that has become the most beautiful part of our joint travels.
At the end of the day, we return to Belgrade richer for another beautiful experience, many smiles, new memories, and photographs that will remind us of the wonderful summer day spent on the Danube.
Transportation is organized, the bus departure point is from Belgrade.
Gathering time is at 8:00 AM.
You will be timely informed about the gathering place.
The bus departs exactly at 8:30 AM, please do not be late - due to the precise schedule, we are unable to wait for you.

- We recommend light and comfortable clothing and footwear
The participation fee for the trip is 2,900 dinars per person - payment of the participation fee for the trip is mandatory at the JOB cash desk or electronically to the account of the Jewish Community of Belgrade 205-49527-14 by Friday, July 24, 2026.
