Today, the Remembrance Day for Holocaust Victims was marked at the Memorial Center "Staro sajmište" in Belgrade. Jovan Elazar, president of the Bnei Brit Lodge Serbia, Aron Fuks, president of the Jewish Community of Belgrade, Krinka Vidaković Petrović, director of the Memorial Center "Staro sajmište", and Miljan Damjanović, member of the City Council of Belgrade, addressed the attendees.

Their messages were powerful – remembrance is not just an act of respect for the victims, but also a responsibility towards the future, to ensure that the deceased live on through stories and that tribute is paid to their memories. Following the speeches, a musical program was performed by Stefan Zekić (baritone and piano), Nikola Đurica (clarinet), Ana Radvanović (mezzo-soprano), and Miljana Zekić (piano).

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of the Republic of Serbia, city authorities, representatives of Jewish communities and national minorities, and the diplomatic corps.
