The Ethnographic Museum and Manak's House present an exhibition curated by Maja Marjanović, curator, head of Manak's House, and keeper of the collection of Hristifor Crnilović.

Hristifor Crnilović (1886–1963) is one of the figures whose work still strongly shapes our understanding of the traditional culture of the central Balkans. Traveling through the regions of Old Serbia, he documented folk costumes, crafts, and architecture, not neglecting the people, environments, and scenes of everyday life.

The exhibition presents a selection of photographs that have never been exhibited before, carefully processed and brought to life with modern technologies, allowing old visual records to be viewed as a living testimony of the time.

In the year when the Ethnographic Museum celebrates its 125th anniversary, dedicated to the culture of clothing, this exhibition marks the beginning of the celebration of this significant jubilee.

After the exhibition tour, the gathering continues in the city.

Gathering at 12:30 PM - Manak's House (Gavrila Principa Street 5)
