We invite you to join us on Friday, May 15 at 11:45 AM for the Golden Heart meeting, which will be held at the Sukat Shalom synagogue (Maršala Birjuzova 19).
This time we will together commemorate Yom Yerushalayim – Jerusalem Day, a holiday that symbolizes the unbreakable historical and spiritual connection of the Jewish people to the city of Jerusalem.
For this occasion, educational-historical video materials have been prepared, as well as thoughts from Rabbis Jonathan Sacks and Ephraim Mirvis, through which we will reflect on the significance of Jerusalem as a symbol of unity, return, and the enduring story of redemption.
Following the program, there will be a lecture by Arlene Han titled “Jerusalem: Memory, Identity, and Continuity,” which will address the historical, cultural, and identity significance of Jerusalem for the Jewish people, as well as how this city has remained a symbol of spirituality, collective memory, and continuity throughout the centuries.
The gathering will continue with music and refreshments.
Everyone is welcome to join us.
